Ingredients
- 3 ripe avocados
- 1 small tomato, finely diced
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely diced
- 1–2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small jalapeño, seeded and finely chopped (optional, for heat)
- 2 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped
- Juice of 1 lime
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the avocados
- Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a medium bowl.
- Mash with a fork until creamy but still slightly chunky (or fully smooth if you prefer).
- Mix the flavors
- Add diced tomato, red onion, garlic, jalapeño, and cilantro.
- Pour in lime juice and season with salt and pepper.
- Gently mix everything together.
- Adjust and serve
- Taste and adjust seasoning or lime juice as desired.
- Serve immediately with tortilla chips, tacos, or as a topping for your favorite Mexican dishes.
